According to American Heart Association, around 350,000 Americans suffer sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) every year and chances of their survival increase up to 30 percent or more with early defibrillation. A victim of cardiac arrest commonly suffers from Ventricular Fibrillation (VF) or Ventricular Tachycardia.
